Lochmaben

Match Information

It’s a return to South of Scotland League action for St Cuthbert Wanderers, as Jordan Williamson’s side take on Lochmaben tomorrow afternoon at St. Mary’s Park.

Saints come into this match on a high, having progressed to the Second Round of the Scottish Cup following an impressive 8-0 victory over Wigtown and Bladnoch.

St Cuthbert Wanderers have picked up maximum points in their last seven outings, three more points here would strengthen their position at the top of the table.

In contras, Lochmaben sit 9th, but are looking to build on their 1-0 win over Upper Annadale last time out and push further up the standings.

Pre-Match Comments

“We’re looking forward to being back at home and on our own surface. If we can look after the ball and be patient, I’m sure we’ll find ways to beat the block they’ll put up in front of us.

We need to be aware of the threat Lochmaben possess, they have some good individual players, and we’ll need to be on our game. But if we turn up with the right attitude, we can take all 3 points.”

Saints Manager Jordan Williamson
